The welt refers to the unique design of thick leather cords that runs along the inside of the back and arm. The supple brown leather and parallel channeled welt gives the effect of a classic automobile, echoed in fin-like chair wings and chrome ferrules on the legs.

Constructed with 8.5 gauge sinuous wire springs that are connected by a cross wire to provide leveled support and comfort. Double springing is used on arm ends to reinforce support. All springs have rust resistant finish to prolong life of the product.
