more"Glam" couples a rich Mink finished veneer with a bleached parchment (goatskin) drawer front delicately finished with ring pull hardware. Goatskin was very popular in the 30s and 40s, and was commonly featured in elegant interiors photographed in Hollywood. With "Glam," the goatskin drawer box was bleached for longevity, and the color will age into a soft champagne. The open shelf interior is painted to match.
Meanwhile, "Glam II" presents a lighter Cerused Walnut finish with a faux shagreen (untanned rawhide) drawer front and petite clover-shaped knob hardware. The hardware pulls are inset with mother of pearl, which gives the "Glam II" extra sparkle. The open shelf interior is painted to match the Cerused Walnut case finish.
Both "Glam" and "Glam II" feature touch switch-activated dimmer lighting and a top drawer that includes a felt-lined jewelry tray and an electrical outlet for charging handheld devices right at your bedside. Note the charming ballpoint metal ferrules at the feet.
